Matt Rooney is a Monmouth County based fly fisherman and fly tyer who’s spent his life chasing striped bass along the NJ surf. He specializes in tying hollow fleyes and beast fleyes, drawing inspiration from the work of Bob Popovics, Andrew Warshawer, Jason Taylor, and many other talented East Coast fly tyers. Carefully tied with attention to detail, Matt’s flies are trusted to catch large striped bass.
