Ostrich herl is a versatile material with many uses including bodies on nymphs and wings on streamers.

Cut from a whole feather, these pieces have fibers that work well for bodies on nymphs or streamers. 

These are fluffy premium plumes for a variety of applications including gills on nymphs, tails, bodies, salmon fly butts, wings, intruders, etc.  A versatile material with a lot of life!

Commonly used for traditonal salmon flies and gilded nymphs.
