Description
For over 20 years, the Guru has been the workhorse of serious fly anglers. The new Waterworks-Lamson Guru X takes everything you loved and makes it lighter, stronger, and faster.
Lamson re-engineered the spool geometry with a larger arbor diameter and a narrower profile. Result? Faster retrieve rates, less line memory, and a significant drop in total weight without sacrificing strength. The open porting design not only sheds ounces but improves line drying, while the integrated counterbalance adds structural stability.
At its heart is Lamson's legendary Sealed Conical Drag System - completely sealed, maintenance-free, and ultra-smooth from trout to tarpon. Fresh or salt, river or flat, this is the 4x4 of fly reels.
