JC Clark
January 17, 2026
For all good reasons, this is the hardest descriptive introduction to write, in most part because JC is brilliant across many spectrums and has energy that if it were able to be canned, we would buy it. I know I would! JC lives every area of his life with the full-on passion of a passionate angler. Somehow, he has managed to tie all of his passions together with determination. He lives driven by a view of ‘think outside the box’ or ‘what’s possible’. If you listen, you’ll see a pattern: JC approaches all areas of his life with knowledge, detail and purpose. There isn’t too much “unplanned or arbitrary” in either his fishing set up, choice of flies, preparation or location and timing of a trip. As if he is combing through a legal case, he sets up his fishing adventure.
JC will fish anywhere with anyone. He welcomes the planned trip, accepts any hiccups that may come along and in no way will waste one minute of fishing time. He goes hard, and gets the maximum return for his efforts.
As a result of his smarts, passion and a wife who understands him, he has fished mostly DIY on almost every continent. His knowledge of rivers throughout the country and world is abundant!
